The Night Sky Speaks: Unframed Art Print
Created in recognition of Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, The Night Sky Speaks is an original artwork by Indigenous artist Cliff Skelliter, originally created in collaboration with Alstom.
Rooted in the visual language of Woodland art, the piece uses bold lines, vivid colour and interconnected forms to tell a story of remembrance, connection and resilience.
At the centre, a bird moves through the night sky carrying the words Every Child Matters. The piece honours the children who were taken, the families and communities forever affected by the residential school system, and the generations who continue to carry their stories.
The Night Sky Speaks is more than an image to be displayed. It is a piece created to carry the message forward.
$10 from every print sold will be donated to the Orange Shirt Society, supporting their work to raise awareness of the continuing impacts of residential schools and the message that Every Child Matters.
Printed on high-quality matte paper, this unframed edition arrives ready to display in a frame of your choice.
